Fountain-clock - a unique composition called "Cascade - a rotating ball." It consists of twelve granite steps with figures of bronze and a marble ball, which weighs almost 740 kg, but it freely rotates under the pressure of water jets. Initially, the direction of the jets changed every hour, as did the rotation of the ball. The water ran down the steps and hit the numbers, indicating the time. There is a long tradition: you need to make a wish and, standing with your back to the fountain (near the ball), throw a coin over your shoulder. On what level it falls, so many times you need to turn the ball - and after so many months will come true. Unfortunately, this beautiful legend has caused frequent breakages of the fountain. Now it works as an ornament, bringing joy to residents and guests of the city, but not showing the exact time.
